The Collision Prevention System is supplied in 2 parts: laser sensor + control electronics.
The laser sensor should be installed at one end of the crane, positioned so that the emitted laser does not encounter obstacles between itself and the neighboring overhead crane.
The control electronics should be installed on the DIN rail of an existing electrical panel on the overhead crane.
The electrical installation is quite simple, just power the control electronics with the available command voltage on the overhead crane (24vcc / 24vac / 48vac / 110vac / 220vac) and connect the 3 trigger relays in series with the translation controls, as indicated below:
Relay 1 – Reduces speed
Relay 2 – Stops the movement
Relay 3 – Stops the movement (redundancy for safety)
These 3 relays can operate instantaneously or with a delay, both for activation and deactivation, just configure them according to the needs of each application.
